Dody lived a long, well-lived life. She had enough love for everyone and gave of it unstintingly. She harbored the lost, mended the broken, and gave joy and a beautiful example of graciousness to untold numbers of admirers and strangers alike. She was available as mother, sister and friend. I'll miss her sorely...sorely. She was a queen of womenkind.
Dear Dody was loved by our family, she was my mom's (Virginia "Tickie" Huffman) best friend. They lived next door to each other on Plum Street and then a few houses down when they moved to Merrill St. Their husbands passed within three months of each other so mom and Dody were their own support group. What a beautiful woman both inside and out. Love you Dody!
