She was one of the best teachers at LV. She made everything you  had to do fun. She would jump  right and start playing what ever game was going on, she didn't care just wanted to have fun!  great lady!!

I miss Diane who was my friend, mentor and co-worker at Riverview Middle School. As a union rep, she taught the staff to stand for our rights. Students were giving hands-on Science activities to increase their understanding of the course material. "Burkie" had a great sense of humor that was contagious. Diane cared deeply for her family and friends.

Diane was a wonderful teacher.  I enjoyed working with her at RV Intermediate School.  It was fun to get together with her, after retirement for lunch and chat.  She is missed.
