Dan Shea became my father-in-law in 1993 when I married his oldest daughter, Catherine Ann.  I could not be prouder to call him my father-in-law.  Dan was a true gentlemen with a strong moral compass.  Intellectually curious, friendly and kind.  He made a good impression on everyone he met.  The world is a little less vibrant with his passing.  Heaven is a little richer.
