Scotty loved big.  He had long arms for a reason, and it turns out, it wasn’t just for his athletic prowess—he needed those long arms for all the people he held dear.  If you were loved by Scotty, you knew it.  His thoughtfulness and generosity never wavered.

Scotty and I were friends from 4th grade through high school in Upper Merion, Pennsylvania, but lost touch after our discharges from the Army.  He was a wonderful man and friend.  Condolences for your/our loss.

Scotty was a loving and committed grandfather to  Cannon, Gaston and Noel. They loved to say, “That’s My Poppy”. He took advantage of every opportunity to be involved in their lives and traveled thousands of miles to be there with them and for them. Their lives will be forever blessed by his sacrificial love and his amazing commitment to them. He was and will forever be “Their Poppy”.
