I am very shocked to hear this news, which I just learned today. I was in the same class at Binghamton Central High School with Cherie.  If I remember correctly, she was the valedictorian. She was very smart and very considerate.  At our 40th high school reunion, a few of us and Cherie went out to our old stomping ground, Sharkeys, and had a blast. We'll miss her.
