I worked with Charlie for ~ 10 years and it was an exciting time for both of us as we did exciting research and published several papers.  I am very sorry to hear that he passed away from Parkinson's .  Regretfully, I am going out of US in 2 days, Please accept my sympathies. Ed

Charlie was wonderful to work with and he had a strong feeling for research and discoverrty of new things from ourexperiments on yjr Space Sguttle.  I am sorry to hear that he passed.  May the memories ameliorate ther pain.
