I never had the honor of meeting this gentleman, but noticed his WW-2 photo and decided to read this obituary.
This man obviously embodied all that was good about the "The Greatest Generation".   I hope that if and when the time ever comes for our nation to be tested like it was in the 1930-40s we will be fortunate enough to find men like this again !!!  My condolences to all his family

Thirty four years ago I would see this man  running on Grove Ave. at  5:15AM  and wonder "why is this old man out running at this hour of the morning every day?"  Thirty one years ago I met Mr.Miller at his daily early morning tennis match. From that day I had the pleasure of talking every day with a truly remarkable man. I know why they call his era "The Greatest Generation".
