Sorry for your loss.

BTW, Neil Diamond is my mom's favorite singer as well.  I think that is all she listens to on her iPod.

We always had such a fun time together. And Carol was so supportive for me when I lost my husband a couple years ago. My deepest sympathy to all her family.

Rest in peace, Carol.

This was your memorial day. Jen, Jeff, Mitch, and Kay visited the homes we grew up in, with you in the Bay Area.

On this beautiful sunny day in Santa Cruz, Jennifer spread your ashes in Santa Cruz bay by the scenic Walton Lighthouse. RIP Mom

Remembering you today Mom, as this would have been your 83rd birthday. In my visit to your sister Phyllis last week, we spoke about you and the early years of our family in the 1950s and 1960s in Renton, WA. So long ago., and so many memories. You had a good life, and I'm glad you enjoyed some retirement years back in the Northwest. RIP Mom.

This would have been your 84th birthday Mom. I was looking through old photos. You had some very good times, mostly in the golden years of our family in the 1960s. I also you were very happy on your honeymoon to Bainbridge with Dad in 1953. You had some good years, and a pretty good life. RIP Mom.

My condolences to all of Carol’s family! I was going through my old phone book today and thought of Carol and decided to look her up and found this site. We worked together at Safeway and briefly lived together in Vista Del Lago Park before she moved to Washington. I also was the happy recipient of her deck that she was so kind to gift me when she moved that I believe Jennifer had built for her. It is still holding strong! Nice memory to think of her today she was a wonderful coworker hoping all her family as well

Remembering you today Mom, as this would have been near your 85th year. You sent me the 1950's "Grandma's Brag Book" years ago when you were cleaning out old stuff. Pictures of me and Chris as babies and toddlers in a wallet book - for gram and gramps. So long ago. We looked so happy as kids, thanks to you. I have the book near your photo on our tribute shelf. RIP Mom.

I remember when we were kids. Some years, the first day of school was your birthday in September. It was always a big deal to get all of us ready and off to school. Then over the years, less of an ordeal. I remember our big road trips to visit Gram and Gramps in Seattle, so far away. Those were the good old days. Remembering you on your 86th year. Lighting a candle for you... RIP Mom.

Our time in Hawaii was brief. I can barely remember it, all those years ago. Dad made a surboard in a sand mold. We lived in a beach house. And you made a mosaic out of collected sand glass. Good times back then, good memories. Thinking of you today Mom.

Your sister, Phyllis Ann (Ellyson) Brenner has died (APRIL 23, 1933 – JULY 11, 2023). She had a good life. We went to her 90th birthday party in San Antonio, in April. She recounted memories of your early family life in Atchison, KS, Falls City, NE, and Renton, WA. It was fun to hear about the old days  Thinking of you Mom. RIP.
