Mr. Pennington will forever hold a special place in my heart as my first principal. He hired me in 1981, fresh out of Mercer University, to teach English at the Perry Middle School. I learned from him, admired him, respected him, feared him, and loved him. May God bless his memory, and may God bless and sustain you all.
