I know everyone says that their loved ones are the best.  My mother never knew a stranger and was a friend to all.  The world is a better place because she was in it.  I will strieve to be like her but I know that I will never be as loved as her.  Rest in peace my beloved mom.  You deserve it.

Barb was a wonderful, strong willed woman!  She was the best example of what a mother-in-law should be and showed me what kind of mother-in-law I want to be when the time comes.  Mama was loved by all and will be greatly missed.  Love you mama, rest in peace!

I owe many of my best childhood (and adult, too, as far as that goes) memories to Barbara Proffer. She was always up for an outing or adventure, she knew how to make the ordinary fun, and she laughed lots and often. I am grateful to her for including me as family, and I am a better person because of her.
