Jerry was a mentor to me in my early police career.  We worked together on many criminal cases, but we always had time to a joke and a laugh.  He will be greatly missed.

I loved playing golf with Aubrey every summer at the Commonwealth Attorney's Conference in Virginia Beach. He was a great guy who I enjoyed being around, laughing with and at, and loved the smell of his cigar. I will miss his laughter and will think of him often when I play golf again. Wish I could be there for his family, but will be out of town.
