Andy was the first of my dad’s colleagues and friends that I remember from when I was little.  He always had an answer, a method, or solution to a problem we were working through and if he did not know it, he knew who to call.  He shared his favorite fishing spots with us and taught us what methods worked best in each.  Andy introduced our family to Lake Almanor, his friends and acquaintances in the area and where to go for the best scenery, fishing and hunting.  Some of my best memories growing up were with my dad and Andy, I feel very fortunate to have known him.
