Would have been your 55th birthday Babe. Missing you and keeping our promises together . The boys are alright, will bring me them back today.
Amy--miss you a lot. Bienca, the kids and I will come to see you next weekend.
My dear friend, it's been a year and I still find myself taking note of things that I would share or discuss with you if you were around. I hope you great peace as you rest in God's arms.
Happy birthday, would have been your 56th. The kids are growing up.
Hard to believe it has been two years. I think about you often and remember all the wonderful times shared over the years. I am not sure how you did it but I still have your cross. We were looking for it everywhere and couldn't find it, so of course we assumed you lost it. You have always been very sneaky and clever. Love Always, Your Sister Jane. P.S.I finally had the strength to write
Today has always been a bittersweet day for me as it is your birthday but also the anniversary of my brothers helicopter crash at the young age of 31. So glad that we spent your 54th birthday together which was the last one you spent on this earth. Unfortunately I am not able to postl video clips on this site. I just posted a photo of us at Teddy's 3rd Birthday. Love,,Your sister Jane
Happy 57th birthday ! We went out and had dinner for your birthday at Main Street Cupertino. Your boys admired your redwood trees still across from the Target. Darwin still deciding on colleges but wants to play football still, Adam probably going to USC film school and Teddy still wants to be a scientist. I feel sad on this day, may you Rest In Peace and shine your love on us.
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. What happens when we die? The ones who love us will miss us. Three years ago today your last words to me were "I love you" Amy, I love you too and miss you everyday. Love always and forever your sister, Jane
PS You must be thrilled that Darwin is going to college!
Happy 58th birthday ! Teddy and the boys miss you. It’s hard for them at times but they are growing up.
Amy,
You are remembered always not just on the day of your birth or the day of your passing. Your birthday and your boys birthdays are especially hard on them. We all love you and miss you so much. Just yesterday you came up in a conversation with a new friend I met. Love always,
I can’t believe it has been four years. Your boys and I came to visit you last month and they asked me so many lovely questions about how we met and about the photo I took of you that is next to your name. Teddy told me he doesn’t have much to remember you by which was what you were concerned about. I am so proud of Adam for finishing high school and going off to college. Love you, Jane
It's been 4 years, time flies. Darwin is studying to be a nurse or something in health care. Adam is off to film school in Burlington Vermont, a very calm place, home of Ben and Jerry's. Teddy has been struggling a bit, but I hope a new routine when Adam is off to college will help. Things are going pretty well for the boys. I hope you can see that. Love Harrison.
Would have been your 59th birthday! Teddy and I have moved to Los Gatos but the old Saratoga house is being renovated and will be rented out. I hope one day one of your boys will move back in with maybe their own family. Maybe I will be a grandfather then. Darwin and Adam are both off at college and doing well. Teddy - he might grow up to be a journalist. The trees still grow.
You are correct as usual! My son moved to California just as you always said he would. I am over the moon about how happy Adam is at University and that he is making friends and has a girlfriend. You would be just so happy to see how well he is doing - he has found his happy place. I am still in Qatar but will be going to California to visit next month! Sending you lots of love, Jane
I can't believe it has been five years. I was so happy to hear that Adam and Teddy came and visited you this past weekend and asked about how we met. They even remember me taking them to La Fondue after we visited you last year and they want to try Ostrich next year after our visit with you. Don;t worry Teddy and Adam will never forget you. We love you forever and always,Your sister Jane
Happy 60th Birthday! It's with a touch of sadness today but our kids are doing really well.
Darwin is a Junior at University of Arizona well on his way to becoming a wildlife biologist/park ranger. Adam is continuing his editing work as a sophomore at Champlain College and has a a girlfriend Caroline. Teddy is going to LGHS next year.
Happy Heavenly 60th Birthday! I could only image what amazing trip you would have had planned to celebrate your 60th. I had lots of photos of us with your boys that showed up on Facebook (you were never a fan of social media) You always told me to reinvent myself in every country I moved to and I am happy to report that I am currently a tour guide in Qatar. Love you, your sister Jane
It is hard to believe that you left us six years ago. You will be happy to hear that Teddy and Adam are very close and Teddy misses Adam terribly while he is away at college and wishes he would come home for the summer. You wanted them to be close and for Adam to look after Teddy and that is exactly what is happening. I miss you every day but I am so glad that you are no longer in pain
Today is particularly hard as I’m pondering going part-time. Would have been our future travel time. I’ve accomplished a lot with my research but now time to scale back and choose only projects I want to do.
Teddy is having a great summer, Darwin and Adam are finally finishing college this year AND are working.
Amy, I had a dream this week about our time in high school and I was so happy to be your friend during those years. You always accomplished so much- I recall Junior Achievement & piano & of course your eloquence as valedictorian. I am glad to see you were well loved by family and friends during your life on earth, which I found out today ended too soon. May your spirit soar in Heaven. -Lydia
Amy, I am coming to see you on Wednesday, August 20th, and hope to take Teddy & Adam out for lunch if they are free. I loved that they come and visit you on the anniversary of your death as well as on your birthday. Your boys will never forget you and I remember how worried you were that Teddy might being that he was so young. Love you forever and always..Your sister, Jane
