I have only just learned of Mrs Monroe’s passing and am sad to hear of it. I was fortunate to be her German student at Service High School from 8th-12th grades, and she was an outstanding and memorable teacher. She was endlessly kind to (and tolerant of) the group of kids who studied with her during that particular period, and we all remember her warmly and with smiles. Tschuss!
