Dear All,
Forgive me as I know some of you all were not able to stream the viewing and I apologize. I am gathering photos and video clips to email or text. Please message me if you would like for me to forward some photos.
I am under impression that I was streaming a live event that one could join to watch whether a Facebook user or not. I do not use Facebook, and, I do not know if the streaming actually worked. We are planning to stream the burial service but need to know what I did wrong or try another streaming platform.
Love,
The McBroom's

Much love, Barbara and Joel.
Short of my own father and Josh no man had a greater impact on my life. A week doesn’t go by without crediting Top for a lesson learned or an experienced had. He was simply the best and will remain in my heart always. I love you Top!
Top, I am forever grateful that I had the honor to be under your instruction during all my years in High School. I am so honored to have stood in your presence. You taught me respect, loyalty, love of country and so many more good things.
You impacted my life in so many positive and wonderful ways. You were powerful, your voice my God... Your voice!! Your voice inspired total respect and
Top was among the top 5 most influential men in my life during my high school years and following. I am grateful to have known him and learned from him. His teaching a gave direction and purpose to my life that I had not imagined before I knew him. I will always remember him as an example of excellence, commitment, loyalty, honor and service. God Bless him and his family.
Top,
There are no words to express the impact you’ve had on my life. You never for a moment stopped believing in and advocating for any of us. We are better people for having been molded and mentored by you. Thank you! You will forever guide my path and the paths of so many others.
We apologize as today’s viewing has been postponed until Tuesday the 19th as my mom is currently hospitalized. Please see the above for the details. Thank you, Joel
Joel…
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Several previous students would love to attend online services. Where can we look for links?
Hi Amanda; et al,
Thank you all through this time. You all have touched my parent’s heart. I am going to try and stream the viewing along with a slide show. I do not have Facebook but open to ideas. I will look into zoom and setup a link. Message me directly for additional details/link or revisit this page for the latest. jmcbroom@hotmail.com

Top/James, how does one thank a man for the impact he makes on a life, when that impact is truly and simply immeasurable? Flatly, you cannot, or even hope to come close. But I will try - please forgive my falling short. You are teacher to some, mentor to others, friend to many, and an example for all. Legends never die, Top, and your legacy lives on. Semper Fi, Brother - we got the watch.
Happy Birthday Marines! Happy Birthday Dad! Love, Mom & Joel
To Barbara and family,
Although James and I only shared a few hours and a couple meals together over a few days he left an indelible mark on my life.
He was as fine of man as I ever met and he is in my thoughts quite often. He was my first "internet friend"!
Barbara, I cherish the memories of you and James.
Please accept my deepest heartfelt sympathy in your loss,
Ed Konopasek
I just found out about Top's passing and my heart is just breaking.
Top, your motivation, your devotion towards your students in helping them strive to be a better version of themselves has always left a lasting memory for me. You'll always be my favorite Mentor and Hero. I miss you so much. Aloha Nui Loa- Carinio 91'
