This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Ivan "Ike" Delock, 92, born on November 11th, 1929 and passed away on February 28th, 2022. We will remember him with smiles on our faces.
To my father, my rock, my anchor, my #1 since day one. I was so lucky to have you as long as I did - but somehow, not long enough. I love you so much!
Your loving daughter,
Leslie
Larry & Leslie, I have many great memories growing up across the street from your family. Your Dad was a great man. I will always cherish the memories as a kid of going to the will call window at Fenway and getting tickets to the Sox game that your Dad arranged for us to go the game. All the best to you both!
Larry & Leslie,
He was a wonderful father & a great neighbor. Glad to have known him.
Sorry for your loss
Tim
May your journey be peaceful, Mr. Delock.
Thank you for the baseball memories you gave to this fan.
My brother, my friend…It was not your turn. St. Peter must have needed a right handed pitcher for his team. Save me a seat. Until we meet again. Love you.
Leslie, My heart hurts for you. Please know that I am only a phone call away if you need anything. I love the photos! Hugs to you from me and Pops.
Ike and my dad played for the Sox together and Glenna and my mom were friends too.i remember that the hid the xmass presents at each other's houses Ike was know as the Yankee killer
Sorry to hear that Uncle Ivan passed away. From the pictures, he looks just like my Dad.
I am so sorry for your loss.
Met Ike about 22 years ago. One of the best guys I have ever met. R.I.P. Will miss you!
Dear Larry and Leslie, We are so sorry to hear about the passing of my uncle and our brother Ike. My family loved being around your parents every occasion that we got. Uncle Ike was always ready to share a laugh. I admired his history and toughness. It seems as though every good Urquhart story involved your dad. May you find comfort in your many memories. Thank you for sharing the many pictures. Sincerely, The Urquhart Family
Ike, you were a great neighbor, close friend, awesome story teller, and wonderful man. We truly enjoyed your company and will certainly miss you. Breakfast at the house of omelets will never be the same. May you rest in peace.
Love, Peter, Lisa, Matthew and Sox
Ike was an absolutely great guy to be around, and I loved to hear him talk about his life—what a life it was! Rest In Peace.
