Gary obviously got his artistic talent from his wonderful dad Ken.  And his wonderful sense of humor from his mother Margaret.

Gary was a talented and fun guy--super smart too. He was always fun at parties and social events. I think he enjoyed a pretty good life.

Gary was a fun guy who enjoyed life.
I had a few beers with him at he Kingfish and we shared fun times living
on Clarendon Crescent. I think I surprised him when I came to see him while
he was working at the EBMUD facility at Lafayette  Reservoir, I was playing
  

Over the course of sixty-nine years, Gary really knew bars and restaurants well. A few of his favorites were:  the Kingfish, Esther's Orbit Room Scott's,Crogan's, Wood Tavern,Yoshi's and a host of other places in town.
