Dear Ritsa, Peter & Evan,
I cannot express how deeply sorry I am for your loss.  George was my doctor for 33 years.  He saved my life in 1992.  He meant the world to me, as you know.  I saw him on 9/11 & now he’s gone.  I just can’t believe it. He has earned his wings.  He wasn’t just my doctor; he was my friend.  He is missed already.  Sharron Small

It was such an honor to know and have Dr. Meltsakos as my doctor from the time I moved to Lowell from Boston 13yrs ago, He allowed me to talk freely even when I was having a bad day and I felt beyond comfortable telling him anything… I thank you Dr. Meltsakos and Ritsa for making me and my sister Remy feel like a part of your family. You will be greatly missed and was loved by many??????

I’m so sad to hear this and my heart goes out to Ritsa and the family. I became his patient in 1991 and only left him as I moved out of state in 2023. He was more than my Doctor, he was a friend. I remember when I had to have surgery one time, he called my son at home everyday to check on him, and another time in a blizzard he drove to Saints’s because I was admitted to the Er. Rest easy??

I am so sad about hearing that Dr Meltsakos has passed.  Rita’s, his two boys and his office staff. Will so miss him.  He always greeted me,my husband Ken and Ken’s Dad, Robert Carter, with so much love.  He made us all feel like we were a member of his outside family.  He was our doctor and friend for more than 30 years.  He was such a caring man.  My heart goes out to you Rita.
