We were at the last ASRM that Diarmaid attended and he took me over to the book sellers booth. The book he wanted to share is “There Is No Planet B”, by Mike Berber’s-Lee. A play on words on Plan B, Diarmaid knew we had better care for the world we live in! He will be missed and remembered with honor and love.

The photo of Diarmaid playing the pipes at Avco-Everett's Laser Propulsion Lab in 1977 (caption written by P. Chapman) illustrates his sense of fun. Diarmaid was one of the most colorful people anyone can be lucky enough to know. His personality, life story and outlook were fantastic, as in like fantasy. I am so sorry we will not have new Diarrnaid stories.
