Claire was a wonderful person. She brought joy to many of us who were struggling with her humorous take on life events. Her family was lucky to have 21 extra years post transplant and both the alpha1 community and the transplant community benefited from her willingness to share her experiences. We shall miss her.

I had the pleasure of knowing Claire since Jan. when I moved into the apt. above her and Clif in their beautiful home. On my 1st night I heard a knock on the door, to find Clif and Claire with a gallon of milk and Oreos, and a hand written note-telling me you are not home until you enjoy a glass of milk and cookies. That’s just who they are, kind people. Thank you Claire for your impact <3
