Chris was a mentor and a friend. Always, giving a helping hand and a stern word when needed. I thank him and wish his sons to know that those who knew their father valued him as a person and knew him to be a leader among men.

Chris was also a mentor and friend to me. As my boss, he expected a lot and apparently knew that I would figure it out. He threw me into the fire when needed and I came out stronger. He supported and had the back of his team doing difficult jobs. Chris could be tough but led with integrity and vision. He was an interesting and compassionate friend.
