I write this tribute with a heavy heart on a beautiful early spring morning. Cara was one of my oldest, dearest friends. We were college roommates. Cara was brave, fiercely loyal and loving. She was the one who invited me to join her family for amazing Italian meals and she also introduced me to the love of running. We bonded over our love of cats also. My heart aches over her loss. ????
