This man meant the world to me. He was not just my doctor for 26 years but a friend, confidant & the only doctor who made me happy I was sick. He had an awesome sense of humor & would greet me with a smirk and say "hope you feel better than you look cuz you look like s***". He once told me I was "a person of substance". My reply was "takes one to know one". I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Brian and I became good friends when we were both stationed in Korea at the 44th Surgical hospital. He was a dedicated soldier and an excellent company clerk. His intelligence and wonderful sense of humor never ceased to amaze me. Brian was a friend to all, especially four of us from Kentucky. He claimed he was an honorary Kentuckian.
