He was always there to listen to the kids when I was a student at Chugiak High in the 70s.  Funny guy, understanding, smart, and we were always happy to see him as we came in through the doors every day.

I'm so sorry he's passed and my thoughts an prayers to his family.  A truly great man

I worked with Bill at Chugiak from about 1970-1980. I remember him at a real nice guy, helpful to me.  I left Alaska in 1980 and have good memories of my time there.
