This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Anthony Serra, 76, born on March 29th, 1949 and passed away on September 29th, 2025. We will remember him forever.

Tony was born on March 29, 1949, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Anthony and Josephine Serra. He grew up in Belmont and, after high school, proudly served in the U.S. Army Infantry during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable service to our nation, Tony founded and operated his own construction business, building homes for more than 20 years. While running his company, he attended Bentley College, where he earned his degree in accounting. He went on to serve his country again as a government civilian with the Internal Revenue Service for another 20 years.
Tony was known for his love of the outdoors, sports, politics, and especially golf. He was an avid hiker and a lifelong fan of the New England Patriots.
On June 30, 1975, Tony married his beloved wife, Janis (formerly Parsons), and together they shared 50 wonderful years. They raised their two children in Barrington, New Hampshire, where they lived for 35 years before retiring to Fort Myers. Tony and Janis shared a passion for travel, visiting countless national and state parks across the country.
Friends and family will remember Tony for his kindness, humor, generosity, and unwavering work ethic.

Thank you for setting the example as a strong man in God's design. I am honored you were my father in law. I will miss our talks about our time serving. RIP, we got it from here and will continue to take care of the family like you did.
