Bill, we will always have the polka!!  I was 16, and Bill taught me how to polka in the basement of his parents' garage in Chicago.  Thereafter, when we were in the same place and a polka came on I would search him out.  When we weren't in the same place I would say, "Where's Bill?"  You'll be my polka partner forever!!

When I was a kid and we visited the Roses, I was always a bit intimidated by Bill! He was like this seasoned cowboy type; tall, strong and silent type.  I trusted him nonetheless, and was grateful to be invited to his home.  It just took me to grow up to know what a great, gentleman and loving father he was! I am also glad I included him and Lor in my wedding about five and half years ago.

He sat at the kitchen table...always in the same place...no shirt...jeans and a copper bracelet...his voice...so deep it rumbled when he spoke...sometimes he said nothing but his eyes said everything...Remembering Bill. Rest In Peace
