Tonight I'm having a Johnnie Walker Red with 2 ice cubes in Bill's memory. Here's to you Bill! Pat
I was saddened to hear of Bill's passing. He was a life-long friend of my mother, Joyce Stewart, who passed in 2018. She had enjoyed at least 1 of his rose garden tours in England, and his wit and stories at many parties and birthday lunches in her Carmel home. I enjoyed seeing his own beautiful roses, and will think of him fondly when mine start to bloom this year. Catherine Cardozo.
Bill was a friend from early days is San Pedro We often did not share the same opinions but it never lessened our friendship. RIP good friend, RIP.

Bill was one of my Directors at the Writing Center, Cabrillo College. He was always very kind and thanks to Bill I have photos of myself at the center. I last saw him a few years ago at Nob Hill where he gave me a hug. May he rest in peace, a beautiful face for God. Love, Marty
Bill Grant, here’s to you! Bill was my father’s mentor at Compton College. He challenged my first- generation college dad to take school and his intellect seriously. My dad, Ron, died young but not before the two had quite a friendship. I spent some of my childhood reading fairy tale books from Bill curled up in those window seats in the house he built. They are good memories.
Thank you, Bill for your friendship, your curiosity, wit and loving soul
