My friend Vick
Guess our annual phone talks are done. I am sad and miss you already. The Army is not the same without you and me. Will see you in a while. Love you buddy. Bud Kenan
I am honored to have been mentored by you in my last active duty assignment. Our morning talks I still share with friends and are my lasting memories of my service. You will always be one of a kind military leader to me. Thank you for sharing with me and others. Hugs to your dear wife. RIP Fran Varon Kridakorn
Gloria and I just learned of COL Micol's passing. COL Micol (then MAJ Micol) was the XO of the 1st Bn, 60th Infantry (Go Devils), 172nd Infantry Brigade in Alaska, a first assignment for us. Under COL Micol;'s leadership we were a tight unit, we all became better soldiers, and we had fun along the way. Our condolences to Jane and family. Thank you for your friendship and your service.
I just learned of COL Micol's death. He is a mentor, a friend, and the best soldier I have served with. I had the opportunity to work with and for him in Alaska in the Go Devil Battalion and then to command an infantry company for him in 1st BN, 502nd INF, 101st. He taught his young officers and NCO's what it meant to be a soldier and a leader. You were one of a kind, sir. God Bless!
