We first met Skeeter living next door in 1970 on Byron St.  In later years after moving to Mech. we crossed paths again as we were both playing music.  We played together for many year at venues in the local area including his business in King William.  In 2007 we moved to Florida and we were in Virginia this past year
stopped at the shop and had a wonderful reunion.  We will miss him.

May God's precious love and comfort be with you all through this very sad time and through all the days to follow. I had the pleasure of playing music with Van on several occasions at public events and also at times at his Exxon Station. It was always fun!!    RIP "Skeeter"
