There was a "spark" the first time we met. I think everyone felt it. That began our journey together, almost 30 years ago. What a ride! I wouldn't trade my time with you for anything. I just wasn't ready for that time to end. I miss you so deeply, I'm yet unable to imagine my life without you. You will forever remain in my heart and my memories of our time together will stay strong.

I am usually not at a lack for words. And yet all of the sudden I find myself failing at saying what I want to say. This is possibly the hardest thing I have ever done.
Even if I could find the words, they could never describe what an honor it was (and it will always be) to have known him, and to have been able to call him my friend. I can only hope that in the end I will be remembered and missed by others as much as he is.
I have such a feeling of emptiness and disbelief that he is gone. And now I just keep wishing that I would have gone to visit him more often . . . or called and talked more often. I guess that's the way most people feel.
But that's the thing. It makes me sad to realize that I'm guilty of this, and I think many other people are too. We get so busy doing the things we think are  important, that sometimes we lose sight of the things that matter to us the most.
The people we love and care about . . . our family . . . our friends, are the most important things we will ever have. Wishing about things you had done after someone is gone is the worst feeling in the world.
Every time I think about him, it will remind me of how important it is to make time to be closer to people you care about.
I love and miss you Tracy Layman - you will never be forgotten - thank you

I am so very sorry. I hope the memories you have comfort you in time.  I didn't know you, Tracy, but I knew Debbie...Grieve in your own time and feel what you need to. Sending love to all, especial you Deb.

It will never matter how much time has passed - everyday I miss my friend even more. You were, and always will be my hero Tracy. I can only hope you know that.

Every once and a while, I could swear that I feel like your near me. Maybe it's just me being selfish and not wanting to let go, yet I still hold on to the thought that somehow you can hear me and you know how much you are missed. And even if you can't hear the things I say to you, I will never feel like my time has ever been wasted in saying them anyway. It's one of the few things that make me feel better besides knowing how lucky I was, and still am, to know you and to be your friend. I can't think of anything more sad then to have lived and been forgotten. You will never be forgotten by me brother.
