Tom was always one of the truly good guys, someone you could count on to do the right thing even when it was not the easy thing or what was most in his self-interest.  I was proud to have Tom as a partner and I am grateful to have been his friend.

Tom was one of the constants for me  during every momentous event over the past 35 years.  A constant source of wisdom, humor, and friendship.  He always had a genuine interest in people and easily connected with a diverse array of characters.  Tom brought fresh air and such good energy to so many.  He left deep tracks.
