I was going to write to Susie about a new Wellesley graduate from St. Germain-en-Laye but remembered it is no longer possible.   Darn!  Our friendship began with the Jumelage and painting in Italy and was nurtured by our love of painting, Wellesley College, making our Christmas cards,and so on.  Susie was such a free spirit and a joy to be with.  I shall cherish our times together.
