I did not realize that I knew Stuart, but just to read her background and acknowledgements  tells me that I wish I had.  What a astounding artist and creative individual she was...It makes me want to pick up my pens and start drawing..God Bless Miss White.

Stuart was my roommate in college and we also lived together the year after we graduated in an upstairs apartment on Monument Ave.  We kept in touch for years and she was a wonderful friend to me.  I am sad that I did not know that she was ill.
I would have loved to “lived again”,with her, those times when we were so very young.  Thanks for the memories??

We were sitting on our porch with our gourd family and decided we would like to share it with Stuart. We found this site and we’re so sorry to hear we couldn’t .Bill, we are very sorry for your loss. We enjoyed our times of speaking with Stuart at many art shows. We’d love to share a picture of our gourd family in memory of our friend Stuart. This was Stuart’s work in the mid to late 70s.
