This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Steven Fox, 74, born on August 12th, 1945, and passed away unexpectedly on July 17th, 2020. We will remember him forever. His obituary can be found under the obituary tab of this website. It will be published in the Monterey Herald on Sunday, July 26, 2020.
Mr.Fox was so nice to me and always supported veterans issues. He was very vocal about Department of Veterans Affairs and how they treat us (veterans). For those of us who were younger veterans he showed the VA does not discriminate on how neglectful they treat us. I will miss his presence on Twitter and how he championed veterans.
Mr. Fox was Courageous!
As a fellow Whistleblower,
I know what it is like to fight, while feeling like it’s pointless. However, you proved your point, by showing people how to stand up and fight back! HUA...Heard, Understood, & Acknowledged.
Thank You Mr. Fox!
My husband, when he was my fiance, told me about his downstairs neighbor who listened to the best music. Sometimes, it was 70's rock, sometimes old standards, but always good (and loud)! When I moved in with him, I didn't lay eyes on Steve 'til I had been living above him for a year...but I sure heard! He'd yell "Vietnam Baby!" whenever Buffalo Springfield – For What It's Worth came on.
Wow!, The fruit really doesn't fall far from the tree! I'm speaking about Steve's daughter, Jamie - a warrior of a whistleblower - and righteously so. I didn't realize her dad, Steve, had been a whistleblower, also. His efforts to make life better for veterans and our system of government were also heroic and costly, but I bet he would have done it over again. One of the good guys!
Jamie and Georgie,
I am so sorry for the loss of your father. As I recall I met him just one time at your home when we were selling back around 2005. May he rest in peace, and I hope you and your families are well.
Dear Steve Fox,
Your energy still exists, I feel it. Thank you for your service. Thank U for your sprite spirit on all dimensions. Most of all, thank U for raising an amazing daughter in Jamie - she not only carries your legacy but your far-casting brightness. It’s an honor to know about you through her! Blessings & love to you Jamie!!!
