Such sad news!  First Bill and then Stephen were entrusted with my (small) investment accounts (25 years in all). In all that time Stephen was my friend through business and Rotary. Such an exciting life, and terrible the health issues at the end. But Stephen always was optimistic! I'll miss your big grin!

Steve was my Rotary sponsor in joining the Danville Syscamore Valley Rotary Club in 1991.  He was a great Rotary mentor, a genuine friend as well as a financial advisor during the 1990s.  We are all saddened by his departure though I am sure that he is enjoying being with his family and friends in Heaven.  For Forest and Aura....he will always be the guiding angel on your shoulders.

Stephen was the ultimate financial professional. He never hesitated to come to the aid of any of his clients, regardless of distance; to offer advice, solutions, or to simply lend an ear. He and his father before him handled our family's investments expertly for over 35 years. Losing a trusted friend and business associate is hard. He was a special person, and will be missed always.

I am heartbroken to lose one of the finest men I have ever known. Stephen was a friend, godfather to my daughter, and guiding light for me in financial and personal matters since 1974. I will never forget Stephen and always be grateful for having known him...
