I worked with Steve at Wellington and we became good friends.  I had the pleasure to commute with he and Cristi.  Quite simply Steve was the most kind individual I have met.  True kindness is lacking today but Steve was truly exceptional.  My condolences to all his family and friends.  He will be missed.

We met Steve at a bar in Shapleigh Maine. We easily started a conversation and when he found out we needed a place to put our horses quickly, without even knowing us he volunteered his barn. After that we got to know he and Cristi, and found them to be two very special people. Steve will always be remembered as having a kind heart and a great smile. Much love to his family. Hi, I’m sorry this is so late but I just found out that Steve had passed. He and I lived together in Queens in 1987-1990. He was an amazing person who surprised me all the time. For my wedding in 1990, he gave my wife and me a pair of night stands that he built. Today I was refinishing them and I thought of Steve and sent him a photo and text. That’s when I heard. I’m very sorry.
