Sandra and I went friends from high school. I’m sorry that we lost touch. Seeing her photo made me realize she never changed. She was an intelligent and very friendly person with a bright smile who had a great sense of humor and was kind to everyone. Sandy was a truly lovely person and I am saddened to hear about her illness and passing. I will keep Sandy and her loved ones in my prayers.

Oh Sandra, you are so missed and so loved. You were one strong beam of light on this earth!! So loving and generous to others...Your legacy is the love you gave to others and that love will continue.

I was shocked and so saddened to hear this news. Both of our sons had her as a 1st grade teacher. My mom died when my oldest son was in her class, right around the same time her dad died. She was so kind and thoughtful as to reserve a mass in my son's grandmother's honor at her church. I've never forgotten that but she was that kind of teacher and person. Our family's prayers are with you.
