I enjoyed Ruth’s presence at Great Bridge Chapter DAR meetings over the years. In 2014, Ruth arranged to have a DAR grave marker added to her sister’s grave site. She organized a small ceremony, with about 10 DAR members attending, to honor the installation of the grave marker at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk. Ruth was a lovely lady and will be missed.
