Rusty Hubbard you really were something else. One of a kind. A true champion and man of many great deeds. Such a fighter with the will to live and so much more to conquer in this world. Gone way too soon.
Rusty you surely came into my life so unexpectedly and became one of my closest and dearest friends over the course of the last year. A divine friendship that will leave a big imprint on my soul. You became part of the family overnight. Your passing has taken us by storm and you will be dearly missed.
I will forever cherish our Friday night gatherings at La Calle with the familia and Monthly dinner dates around town. I will immensely miss your infectious laugh, radiant smile and those lovely blue eyes of yours. I can still hear your laugh. Mostly, I will miss your amazing endless stories that were filled with so much pizzaz, life, wisdom and color. Boy your stories really were something else. I could listen for hours upon hours.
It really was wild how many coincidences our families had with the connection of Los Altos. My mother's and yours hometown. Literally growing up on streets so close to one another with my family on Rancho Robles Road (named after my family).
I am forever grateful for our friendship. One of the very best I've had in my lifetime.
My family and I will miss you so much. It was an honor to have your friendship and I'm so glad we were able to spend so many incredible times together my birthday, ring in the New Year together at my Aunt's home with the family for 2020 and all the other celebrations we had throughout the year.
Your spirit forever lives on in all of us you touched in the Medina and Robles family. You are forever missed. My heart is saddened, but I find comfort in knowing we will all be reunited one day again in Our Father's House.
