Robin.   No one has brought more delight to more lives.  No one taught me more about art or people. No one brought more interesting people to my house.  Robin could do amazing things and turn dull events into memorable occasions with just a pennywhistle or anything else at hand.  She was the most magic and amazing person I have known or even read about.--------Jan Penney Zeigler

Robin, The magic you taught us will continue to flower.  I keep a stack of colored papers, little scissors, pinking shears, and a punch in my top desk drawer.  Anytime a child wanders in, they watch in awe as I make them a little horse, dog, or cat:  red and white for Valentine's Day, red and green for Christmas, orange and purple for Spring!  The wonder continues -- Jeanne Mileti

I don't have words to convey how big is the hole in the universe left by Robin's passing. She and I were at the opposite ends of many ideological points of view and had she been anyone else we would not have been friends. She, however, was Robin, a truly unique person. I am a slightly jaded person but this childlike, gracious, creative, delightful woman was a light in my life.

I recently was grieved to hear of Robins death. In 1968 we met through mutual friends and through our mutual interest in musical instruments. I loved her enthusiasm for teaching and for life.  We kept in touch for many years, she often sending me letters with her little cut-out paper animals, though living on opposite coasts made visiting hard. She was such a loving and generous friend.
