Oh my goodness, what a loss. I was a colleague of Bob's in the UCSC Economics Department. What I remember best is the extraordinary impact he had on his students--not just a few students but hundreds, maybe thousands. He taught them accounting, but he taught them much more, including public speaking and citizenship. And they loved him. May his memory be a blessing.
