Johnnie and I first met Grady before Chad was born.  He was a good friend and a good man.  I have lots of wonderful memories of us doing things together and sharing both good and bad things in our lives.  I didn't stay in touch with him over the years but he will always be a dear friend and I feel blessed to have known him.  Chad, I am so sorry for your loss.

I entered the USAF Sept 17, 1964, was in Flight 1128 at Lackland AFB, TX.   I made a wonderful friend from Macon, GA, Grady Beasley.  Oh we shared our country style living, I’m from West Va.  just watching a cooking show (carnival Eats) on TV filmed in Macon.  I thought of Grady and struggled for a last name…it came to me!  Last saw him was basic graduation. (58 years)  SAME GRADY?
