I met Bob in the 1970s when he and his son, Robby, were at a race in which Robby was racing.  They were very friendly to me and we started a friendship lasting through the decades until the present time.  I later raced in the same racing class as Robby and even had one race competing against Bob in Robby's race car.  Bob and I have had many happy times recounting events from that race.
