I was a student of Mr. Saudelli and will always remember his corny jokes! He always stood outside his classroom door and welcomed everyone into class. My kids also had him in middle school and enjoyed his class as well. So sorry to hear of his passing, he was a great guy.
I worked at Turkey Hill Middle School and remember Bob fondly. Such a wonderful, funny, loving man. I was so heartbroken to see this today. I have been away from that job for many years now but would never have forgotten such a wonderful man. My prayers are with his family. God Bless.
I have wonderful memories of middle school because of Mr. Saudelli. He has so many jokes. A favorite was the gum detector. Thank you for your many years of service to the Lunenburg community. You sure make my 12 year old self smile. May your memory be a blessing to many and may you Rest In Peace.
Another student of Mr. Saudelli's writing in. he was my 6th grade Science teacher, and I sure looked forward to that class. I enjoyed it when he read stories to us. I recall "Mr. Miacca," being one of his favorites. He was a very caring, kind man and always did his best for the students. He was also a person of deep faith, but always respectful of others faith traditions, as well.
"Variety is the spice of life"...I'll never forget this phrase as one of Mr. Saudelli's students at Turkey Hill. He said it many times in multiple contexts. Great teacher, great man. My sympathies go out to his family and friends in their time of loss.
