Even though I did not know Mr DeBord, I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to his family. Acts 24 : 15, Psalms 37 : 29, Isaiah 25 verse 8 gives us more comfort for today and hope for the future. Just think how much God wants us to live forever and how much he loves us and how we will see our loved one's again.
Rich, I am in shock! I did not know of your passing until today. I have so many fond memories of you and the time we shared after meeting at Jesse's Sports Page in Soquel in the late 80's-early 90's. I remember attending a few of your great parties! I always loved running into you around town and at the coin shop. I will miss you man! I offer up prayers for all of your family and friends! My business location was the same as his, Branciforte Plaza.. Customers came from far and wide, and returned often. Karen and he are missed and remembered for honest friendship and business dealings.

Richard, my dear friend. Nadine and I are so sad to hear of you leaving us. We were looking forward to your visit this year to Spring Training but that will not happen now. Richard was a good family friend to Gary and I for more than 25 years. I will remember Rich for his life-of-the-party, fun-loving personality; softball playing days ("Gumby!"); being the fireworks guy; his train room; his amazing jewelry skills (he made our wedding bands); and his great love of music. We love you Rich! We will miss you very much.
