Without a doubt, Richard was one of the gentlest kindest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. HIs faithful presence in church and sweet disposition made him just a blessing to know. Every time I preached, I made sure to look at Brother Richard, the rest of the congregation could be nodding off, but Richard was intently listening -I knew he was always pulling for me!
