I met Harry at the Gay Men's Center in the Spring of 1976. I attended several of his talks on Gay History. I was in my 20's and was fascinated by Harry's knowledge and inspired by his intelligence. As a young man his perspectives made me proud to be a gay man at a time when gay oppression was alive & well. His views reflected a broad and far reaching appreciation of history.   Thank you.
