Rich Fontana, friend, father, grandfather and humanitarian.  So many memories of knowing that Rich (Ledyard) would be there to assist in any event in Scotts Valley for schools and city festivities. He rarely knew the word "no".  I always enjoyed our conversations through business and personal, especially fun when we didn't agree.  Thank you Richard for your friendship and generosity.  

Dear Rich,
Just learned the news of your death. Though we were close in our youth; our friendship didn't survive the meaningless distractions of doing life.  I am sorry I didn't reach out and make an attempt to stay connected. You have a great heart; you are a great friend. I too will light a candle for you.  R. D.
