Dick Smith was all and even more than his tribute recounts. He was an exemplary humanitarian who gave so generously, but quietly, to innumerable causes. The Smith and Lurie families have been long-standing friends of our family for over 70 years and my mother June Salny and I send our heartfelt condolences to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and to his dear sister Nancy.
