I told dear Father David once  after listening to  his countless Homilys  how poignant and beautifully relevant  they always were with a touch of humility, irreverent wit, and poise... just as  he conducted his exemplary life...  with candor, charm, and his exuberant  devotion to our Lord.  Father David was ever grateful...in his bashful cadence.  I will miss you dear David.
